Cream Cheese Frosting

Use this super simple Cream Cheese Frosting to decorate your favourite carrot cake, cupcakes or even just to drizzle on top of cinnamon buns. For a dairy free option use dairy free butter and cream cheese and no one will ever know.
- 1/2 cup Butter (non-dairy or regular)
- 8 oz Cream cheese (non-dairy or regular)
- 4 cups Anita's Organic Icing Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Place all the frosting ingredients into mixer and whisk until smooth, soft and fluffy. Keep refrigerated until required. Once the cake has cooled spread the frosting over the top.
Variations: Cinnamon Frosting: add 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon to the mixture. Citrus Frosting: add the zest 2 oranges and 1 lemon to the mixture.
