ANITA'S ORGANIC red split lentil flour
Commonly used as a meat substitute, Organic Red Split Lentil Flour is high in protein and Vitamin B and takes on the flavour of whatever it’s cooked with. This makes it a great addition to a vegetarians diet or those looking to reduce their fat intake.

Similarly to Green Lentil Flour, Red Split Lentils are naturally gluten free. The lentil is 25 percent protein — second only to soybeans as a source of usable protein. Lentils are also an excellent source of vitamins and provides fibre, potassium, B vitamins, and iron. Unlike meat, poultry, fish and eggs, this protein source contains no cholesterol and virtually no fat. Lentils, when eaten with a grain such as rice, wheat, or barley, provides all the essential amino acids required by the human body in a balanced diet.
