Raspberry Chocolate Chip Loaf

Summer time is raspberry time and what better way to utilize this delicate delicious fruit than by adding them to your baking. The pairing of the sweet-tart raspberries and rich chocolate is always a winning combination. Raspberries not in season – never fear – frozen ones will work just as well so you can enjoy this treat all year round.

Harvest Grain Bread

Our Harvest Grain Muesli is a great mixture of Barley Flakes, Wheat Flakes, Oat Flakes, Sunflower Seeds, Flax, Millet and Sesame Seeds. This delicious mix can be eaten just as is, sprinkled on top of oatmeal or yogurt, used to make granola, or added to your baking. Here we have added it to a simple bread recipe. This bread is perfect for sandwiches, toast and or dunked in your favorite soup.

Chocolate Swirl Breakfast Roll

Cinnamon Rolls are always a favorite for breakfast and as a mid-morning snack but how about changing it up a little. Here we have switched out the butter and sugar for some healthier, but just as delicious options. The filling is very simple to make, not too sweet and compliments the soft pillowy rolls exceedingly well.

Herb & Garlic Bread Sticks

One of our favourite flours here at Anita's is our Pizza & Pasta Type '00' Flour. This super fine, but strong flour gives your pizza dough that authentic Italian feel and texture. It is also perfect for making Ciabatta bread, pasta and of course these delicious bread sticks. If you've never tried it you will be surprised at how much it will elevate your pizza game.

A good tasting beer adds a delicious richness to the French Toast but you can sub it for sparkling water instead.

Almond & Poppyseed Spelt Loaf

This not too sweet loaf has hints of almonds and poppy seeds which make for a great combination. The almonds add a subtle richness to the cake and the poppy seeds add a delicate crunch to every bite. Poppy seeds, though often a little underrated, are rich in calcium, iron and magnesium so make a great addition to many dishes. Enjoy this loaf as it is or with a light touch of your favorite jam or nut butter. For an altogether sweeter option or to elevate this to a dessert treat drizzle with the almond glaze and sprinkle with more flaked almonds for that extra flourish. Just fabulous!
